Christian Education

The Christian Education Board’s role in the church is to help develop the understanding and practice of Christian faith through educational Bible studies. The curriculum for the Adult and all children’s classes are provided by the Christian Education Board. CE Board also sees to the staffing needed for all classes and the nursery.

Diaconate

The Diaconate Board is composed of seven members elected by the membership. The Diaconate’s focus is on the Church affairs relating to worship and the spiritual life of the Church.  They are involved with the Pastor on the worship service’s order of worship. They prepare and distribute the Sacraments in our monthly Communion Worship service. The Diaconate welcome visitors and assist in the reception of all who enter our church for worship. They visit our shut-in members and send cards to those who are sick. The Diaconate are to tend and nurture Jesus’ flock.

Missions

The Mission Board consists of six elected members of the congregation. After requesting a designated budget from the Board of Trustees, it is the responsibility of the Mission Board to determine which missionaries or mission projects we will prayerfully and  financially support.  Following the final command of Jesus to ‘go into all the world and preach the gospel, the Board endeavors to support mission projects that will reach people with the message of salvation by grace, through faith in the death of Jesus Christ on the cross for the forgiveness of sins.

Trustees

The Board of Trustees is composed of six elected members of the congregation. Also providing information for the board to use is the Financial Secretary and the Treasurer. It is the responsibility of this board to care for the physical buildings and grounds of the church and parsonage. They are commissioned to assemble a budget and monitor the finances of the church.
