In keeping with the mandates from the governor and the State of Illinois, we will not be holding worship services or any other activities through the end of May. We pray this course of action will allow our members and friends to stay safe and well. “He will never leave you nor forsake you.”
We are a family of believers in Jesus who offer freely to all what we have received from God: love, acceptance, forgiveness, welcome and grace. You won’t find anyone here pretending to be flawless or having all the answers. We don’t claim that we do it right all the time, nor do we pretend to be the “perfect church.” The very best we can do is point toward the One Who loved us enough to become our substitute sacrifice and die in our place. In return He gives us a new life and the grace to follow Him.
First Congregational Church of Peru is an independent Congregational Church. We have been ministering to the Peru community since 1837.

We are located at 1431 Fourth St. in Peru. Our Bible Classes start at 9:00 a.m. for all ages. Our Worship Service begins at 10:30 a.m.
